This is again a special month in the Tamil
Calendar. Temples open earlier in the mornings. Devotees throng the
temples early in the mornings for puja and prasadam – the offering made
to the deity that is distributed to the devotees. Arudra Darisanam at
Chidambaram Temple (Thiruvaadirai star in Tamil) is the most auspicious
day in this month. This is also a very popular festival in Kerala,
where it is just called Thiruvaadira. The offering made to Lord siva is
the Thiruvaadira Kali.Mukkodi Ekathesi called as “Sorgavasal Thirappu”
for Lord Vishnu.

During this month, Katcheri’s go on in the morning and the evenings,
after which hot pongal is distributed to the people. This festival has
a lot of significance in Vaishnavism, as the lord is glorified in the
verses of Lady Andal, or Godai or Goda Devi as she is known. The month
of Maargazhi starts on December 15th this year, and ends on January
15th. Cannot wait to see the festivities!

My life at college

My life’s great people. A bit of studies, romance, tragedy; all the essence of life a college student would experience in a college. With my studies going great, a bit of romances of course like flirting and of course with my project in hand, what else do I need.

Life’s a bit worked out here people, at Amrita, you got to do a liot of word over here. Its not just a cake walk. You do your work, you survive, else hit the road!

But I have a had a big deal of romantic life that I would like to share with all of you who would peep into my blog. Hope you guys have a great future ahead!
